Volunteer Lecturer Series in Cambodia (2015)

  • Cambodian and French mathematicians met in January 2015 to discuss an new initiative "Excellence Program in Mathematics" which aims to prepare Mathematics Bachelor students for the Master in Mathematics at RUPP who can continue directly for a PhD.

  • Michel Jambu, Professeur Emérite Laboratoire J.A. Dieudonné UMR 7351 CNRS, Université de Nice Sophia Antipolis (France) gave a course in Topology from 12 November 2014 - 15 January 2015 at the Master Program at RUPP, Cambodia. His report can be found here.



  • CDC donated USD 11,000 to support the purchase of 25 computers for a computer lab in the mathematics department of RUPP.
  • Brigitte Lucquin (France) had a course on Approximation of PDE 1 from March 23- April 10, 2015. Her report can be found here and the photos can be found here.
  • Michel Waldschmidt taught a 45 hours course to the students of year 1 of the Master of Science in Mathematics of the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP)from April 20 to May 8, 2015. His report can be found here.
  • Mark Gockenbach (Michigan Technological University, USA), gave a course on “Ordinary Differential Equations” in June/ July 2015. His report can be found here.
