Volunteer Lecturer Series in Nepal

Since 2016 CDC supports the Nepal Algebra Project (NAP) which aims to foster mathematics courses at the master level (M.Sc.and M.Phil) at Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

The Nepal Algebra Project (NAP) has a span of six years starting with the summer of 2016, ending with the summer of 2021. Each of the six years one course on "Fields and Galois Theory" of 50 hours will be offered by several international lecturers.

Each course will last 10 weeks (five hours each week) starting the second week of May, ending by the end July. It will be divided into five modules, each of two weeks. Every module is taught different lecturers.

More information about the NAP can be found here: www.rnta.eu/nap/

In 2016 CDC supported the course with funds CDC received from the Abel Board Grant for 2016.

Detailed information about the supported course is available on the website of NAP hosted by RNTA: http://www.rnta.eu/nap/nap-2017/module_1.php
