The grants are administered by the Grants Selection Committee (GSC), a seven-member committee supervised by the Commission for Developing Countries (CDC).  Its members are recognized mathematicians from seven countries in Asia, Africa, North and South America and Europe. Three GSC members are also members of the Commission for Developing Countries.
