Application for CDC Individual Support

NOTE: The CDC only considers applications for support for research visits made by individual mathematicians with a Ph.D. or equivalent.

Please apply at least four months in advance of your research visit. If you are not sure about what information should be included in your application, please read the General Policy for Applications Made by Individuals.

NOTE: Your application will be considered complete once we have received a copy of your letter of invitation.Please remember that the host institution should explicitly commit itself to supporting the local expenses.

Please note that if you receive support from the CDC you are expected to send the following documents within four weeks of your return:

1) a scientific report

2) an itemized financial report (including scanned invoices and/ or boarding tickets) on the use of your travel grant to the CDC 

3) acknowledge CDC/IMU support in your publications.
