Two ICMI Studies is currently in process. Twenty-two studies have been completed.
The volumes resulting from the ICMI Studies now appear in the New ICMI Studies Series (NISS) published by Springer under the general editorship of the President and the Secretary-General of ICMI.

ICMI Study 23: Primary Mathematics Study on Whole Numbers
Professor Mariolina Bartolini of University of Modena-Reggio Emilia, Italy and Assistant Professor Sun Xuhua of the University of Macau, China are the Co-Chairs of this study.
The book is expected to be published in 2017 with the title "Building the foundation: whole numbers in the primary grades."
The IPC meeting has been held January 19-24,2014 at the IMU Secretariat in Berlin, Germany.

The Study Conference was held at the University of Macau, Macau SAR, China, from June 3 to 7, 2015. Information about the conference can be found on the study conference website and the Discussion Document.
ICMI Study 24: School Mathematics Curriculum Reforms: Challenges and Changes
The ICMI EC launched in the end of 2016 the 24th ICMI Study with the topic: "School Mathematics Curriculum Reforms: Challenges and Changes". The study was launched in February 2017 by the co-chairs Renuka Vithal (South Africa) and Yoshinori Shimizu (Japan).
The first IPC meeting will be held November 13-15th, 2017 in the IMU Secretariat in Berlin. All members of the IPC as well as the ex-officios will participate in the meeting.
