The third Capacity and Network Project Programme will be held from 14th to 25th October, 2013 in Cambodia.
Preliminary Outline:
About forty participants from five countries in the region (Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam) will attend a two week workshop.
They will mostly be those who prepare secondary mathematics teachers, but will include a few mathematicians, teachers, and government curriculum personnel. There will be 6-8 members of the international mathematics education community present. The two-week event will consist mainly of workshops for the participants, but ICMI intents to organise public events and media opportunities.
The first meeting of the IPC took place in Seoul, Korea in July 2012.
The second meeting of members of the IPC as well as the Local Organising Committee took place in Thailand and Cambodia in March 2013.
