Because of the relatively small numbers, most WiM organisations span all fields of mathematics. However a number of groups have recently started  for women in specialist fields. Here is a list, together  with a number of organizations specifically aimed at women in Statistics and Operational Research. If you know of others, please let us know.

 

NUMBER THEORY


Women in Number Theory

(WINE) is an active recently formed group. Their website contains numerous further links, mainly from the USA. They also have a mailing list and organise conferences.

Association of European Operational Research Societies (EURO)

As far as we know there is no committee concerned specifically with women in EURO. However recently EURO has had three female presidents:  Martine Labbé (Université Libre de Bruxelles 2007-2008),  Valerie Belton (University of Strathclyde, 2009-2010), Grazia Speranza (Universita de Brescia, 2011-2012).
