Sharing Experiences Groups
A Sharing Experiences Group (SEG) is a small interactive group of 10-20 members gathering to exchange and discuss experiences concerning a well-defined theme of common interest. SEGs will cover topics such as:

  • the initiation of a research project.
  • the balance between course work and dissertation work in a PhD study.
  • problems encountered in planning and carrying through empirical research.
  • obstacles to innovation experienced by individual teachers who want to adopt innovative approaches to teaching or assessment.
  • experiences of team teaching.
  • problems encountered in graduate supervision, etc.

Normally, an SEG will be allotted up to two one-hour time slots. Please note that participation in an SEG is limited and allocated on a "first come first served" basis.

Individuals or groups may submit proposals to establish a Sharing Experiences Group. Please click here to see how.
