Plenary Speakers and Invited Speakers

Dear Colleague:
At the recommendation of the ICM2002 Program Committee
(which is chaired by Professor Yuri I. Manin), the Organizing
Committee has invited 20 mathematicians to give one-hour
plenary lectures at ICM2002. The names of the plenary
speakers are as follows:

45-minute lectures, and 8 mathematicians to give talks in two
panel discussion sessions of Section 18 (Mathematics Education
and Popularization of Mathematics); The names of the invited
