As with other large events, our ICM 2018 organizing committee will need the help of volunteers.
We want to recruit young students in Brazil and abroad who are enthusiastic about running a great
ICM and making Math better known in our country.
Our goals for the volunteers go beyond simply organizing ICM 2018 and the IMU General Assembly.
Our hope is that, by engaging students with our science, we will increase interest in and the
visibility of mathematics in our society. We also hope that volunteers can develop new skills
which will be helpful in their professional future.
