Jorge Pérez (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid) will teach a C*-Algebras course at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora - Campus Universitário, São Pedro Juiz de Fora - MG - Brazil in July/ August 2025.
Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences-Isfahan Branch (IPM-Isfahan), Department School of Mathematics
Hiroshi Yamauchi (Japan) will teach a course in Abstract Algebra: Vertex Operator Algebra/Quantum Vertex Algebra at the Institute for Research in Fundamental Sciences-Isfahan Branch (IPM-Isfahan), Department School of Mathematics.
University of Antananarivo, Département de Mathématiques et d'Informatique (Madagascar)
MATHIAS RAMPARISON (France) will teach a course in Applied Mathematics (Computer security, secure code and blockchain) from July 28 - August 23, 2025.
The course is part of a Double Master's Degree program in Mathematics and Computer Science, which commenced in February 2023 with an initial cohort of 20 students. In an effort to ensure that students enrolled in this program receive the highest quality education, the department has engaged former faculty members—now residing abroad—to contribute their expertise as volunteer lecturers.
Abbottabd University of Science & Technology, Havelian, Abbottabad, KPK (Pakistan)
Aziz Furqan (UK) will teach a course in Combinatorics/Discrete Mathematics (Machine Learning with Graphs) from October 07 - October 19, 2025.
The course Machine Learning with Graphs explores the intersection of two rapidly evolving disciplines: machine learning and graph theory. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of this subject, there is an increasing demand for highly qualified lecturers who possess both a strong foundation in mathematical theory and practical experience with machine learning applications. A volunteer lecturer with expertise in these areas can play a crucial role in bridging the gap between theoretical principles and real-world implementation, thereby equipping students with the skills necessary to address complex, real-world challenges. Furthermore, the scholars trained through this course will be well-positioned to mentor and support newer students in pursuing careers and conducting research in this emerging field.
Mathematic Department, College of Sciences, Salahaddin University-Erbil (Iraq)
The courses will be offered in alternating academic years, commencing with Group Theory. The project is planned to span a total of six years, beginning in the fall of 2026 and concluding in the spring of 2031. Each course will be delivered by visiting lecturers from abroad, who will be based in Erbil for a period of two weeks. During their stay, they will provide a total of 20 hours of instruction, comprising both lectures and exercise sessions.
