Project Support Program

Project Support for Mathematics and Mathematics Education

Under the Project Support Program the CDC supports capacity building projects and programs in mathematics and mathematics education, be they international, regional or local initiatives in developing countries. The CDC members evaluate and select the grant recipients. More information about the supported projects can be found on the right side of this page (sorted by year of support). This program is partially supported by the Niels Henrik Abel Board.

Call for Applications

Currently this program is closed. The CDC primarily supports higher education and capacity building projects as well as local initiatives in mathematics and mathematical education, be they international, regional or local initiatives in developing countries (IMU definition).

The projects should start between January 1, 2019 and December 15, 2019.

In cases in which funding is granted, CDC grants will normally be in the range of EURO 1,000 to 5,000. Exact amounts will depend on the mathematical quality and impact and on budget constraints. The deadline for applications of projects starting during 2019 is September 10, 2018 FOR COMPETE applications. If you application is not complete by September 10th it is not eligible for evaluation.

The online application form will be closed on September 10th, 23:59 Berlin time (Central European Summer Time).

One the right side of this page you can find a list of the projects supported in previous years.

Each application must include
