Under the Project Support Program the CDC supports capacity building projects and programs in mathematics and mathematics education, be they international, regional or local initiatives in developing countries. The CDC members evaluate and select the grant recipients. More information about the supported projects can be found on the right side of this page (sorted chronologically by year of support).
This program supports higher education and capacity building projects as well as local initiatives in mathematics and mathematical education, be they international, regional or local initiatives in developing countries (IMU definition).
Research projects are not eligible.
The projects should start between November 1, 2021 and October 31, 2022.
In cases in which funding is granted, CDC grants will normally be in the range of 1.500 to 5.000 €. Exact amounts will depend on the mathematical quality and impact and on budget constraints.
The deadline for applications was May 31, 2021.
