The Emil Artin International Conference dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Emil Artin has taken place in Yerevan, Armenia from 27 May to 2 June, 2018. The conference has been very successful and attracted significant attention from well-known scientists in the field, including mathematicians from the United States, France, Italy, Russia, China, India, Poland, Norway, Iran, Canada, and Brazil. Several key speakers, including Efim Zelmanov, Armen Sergeev, Ivan Shestakov, Yuri Movsisyan, Alexey Parshin, Mikhail Volkov, Jonathan Smith, Daniele Mundici have discussed solutions to open problems in the fields of algebra, geometry, topology, number theory, algebraic geometry, etc.
