Géométrie Algébrique en Liberté (GAeL), Romania, June 17-21, 2019

The conference "Géométrie Algébrique en Liberté (GAeL) " brought together 76 young researchers in algebraic geometry, both PhD students and young postdocs. Among them there were 55 supported participants, 6 global and 2 local organizers. There were three senior speakers. The three invited senior speakers each presented a mini-courses about important modern areas of algebraic geometry. Each mini-course consisted of four lectures, each lasting one hour. In addition to the mini-courses, there were 12 junior talks given by selected participants, presenting their own research.

Quantum Topology and Hyperbolic Geometry Conference, Vietnam, May 27-31, 2019

The "Quantum Topology and Hyperbolic Geometry Conference" was a five day conference with 20 talks from leading international experts in Quantum Topology and Low-Dimensional Topology.  It was followed by a four day mini-course for young researchers and students. The local researchers and young students greatly benefited from lectures of leading experts in the area of topology and geometry. Mathematical exchanges between local young lecturers with foreign experts not only stimulate their scientific research, but also innovate their teaching at university level.

Hyperplane Arrangements : Recent Advances and Open Problems, Vietnam, March 11-22, 2019

The CIMPA school “Hyperplane Arrangements: Recent Advances and Open Problems” in Hanoi introduced a modern and very active area of mathematics to the audience in Vietnam and the region. The school is primarily oriented towards PhD students and young researchers. This CIMPA school and workshop brought together 60 participants, among which about 35-40 percent were from foreign countries.

Isfahan Conference on Representations of Algebras, Iran, April 16-19, 2019

Representation Theory is a central branch of modern mathematics that studies realizations of abstract non-linear structures using classical linear and/or combinatorial concrete structures like matrices, linear operators and quivers. It is a very active and dynamic area, both heavily influenced by important applications to algebra, combinatorics, geometry, topology, analysis, category theory, number theory, mathematical physics and other branches of mathematics and physics.

Summer School: Combinatorics meets Algebra, Geometry and Optimization - ECCO 2018, Colombia, June 5-16, 2018

This school was the sixth "Encuentro Colombiano de Combinatoria (ECCO)” (Colombian Meeting on Combinatorics). Previous meetings took place in Bogotá (2003, 2008, 2012, and 2014), and in Medellín (2016). The main objective of the school was to bring young mathematicians from the region into close contact with international researchers and leading experts in various fields of combinatorics and its applications. The aim was to promote mathematical research among young students in a motivating environment and to consolidate a regional research network in combinatorics.

ICRAAM 2019, Pakistan, February 20-22, 2019

The Conference on Recent Advances in Applied Mathematics was held at Department of Mathematics, COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus, on February 20 – 22, 2019. The ICRAAM 2019 provided a platform for researchers and graduate students in South Asia to interact and network with expert mathematicians and was an opportunity for them to exchange research ideas with their peers. Since the conference covered a wide range of research areas, the ICRAAM 2019 attracted a huge interest from researchers from the neighboring developing countries.

ICANTA 2019, Morocco, April 24-27, 2019

The "Arithmétique, Calcul Scientifique et Applications" Laboratory (ACSA) of the sciences faculty of the Mohammad Premier University, Oujda, Morocco, recently organized its third International Congress named "Algebra, Number Theory and their Applications (ICANTA-2019)". This scientific event, held from 24 to 27 April, 2019 at the Oujda Knowledge Campus, was an opportunity for participants to present and discuss the latest novelties, publications and recent works in some fields  of algebra and number theory.

ICCGNFRT 2018, India, October 8-11, 2018

The ICCGNFRT 2018 was held in Allahabad, India, from the 8th to the 11th October 2018. This was the second program round in the series `International conference on class groups of number fields and related topics' (ICCGNFRT). The previous conference was well supported and appreciated. The main purpose of this thematic conference was to bring various experts working on different aspects of the Class Groups at one place. This will provide young researchers with an unique opportunity to learn the techniques and scope in the subject in order to collaborate with the experts.
