"Elementary Mathematics from an Advanced Standpoint - Felix Klein and Mathematics for Teachers", 17.-20.09.2013 started today.
The Klein workshop will have 27 participants from 10 countries.
A public day with secondary school teachers from Berlin and the region will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Humboldt Universität zu Berlin were more than 80 teachers are expected.
Some of the issued covered will be:
- Felix Klein - A short introduction to his life and his work
- The Klein-Project in different countries
- Reflexion of the participants concerning the existing vignettes (http://blog.kleinproject.org/) and ideas for a new vignette.
- How do up-coming technologies influence the presentation of mathematics?
