Report on International Conference on Mathematical Analysis and its Applications (ICMAA) held at Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, India. 28. November - 02. December 2016
The main concept of ICMAA 2016 was to work on the theme of a particular branch of Mathematics called Mathematical Analysis and its Applications. The main objective of the conference was to bring experts working on these problems from various academic Institutions in the world together so that they can interact with the young researchers working in India and to exchange the ideas. The conference acted as a platform to inculcate research interests among young minds on recent topics of research in Mathematical Analysis.
It is our pleasure to announce that the winner of the 2015 Ramanujan Prize for Young Mathematicians from Developing Countries is Dr. Amalendu Krishna of India’s Tata Institute for Fundamental Research.
