CWM Calls

Current calls

  • CWM Call 2021. CWM invites proposals for funding of up to €3000 for activities or initiatives taking place in 2021, aimed at either (a) establishing or supporting networks for women in mathematics, preferably at the continental or regional level, and with priority given to networks in developing or emerging countries, (b) organizing research workshop geared towards establishing research networks for women by fostering research collaborations during the event or (c) other relevant initiatives.
  • Because of the COVID crisis, (totally or partially) virtual on-line events are welcome and non -virtual projects should explain their plans in case they have to turn virtual.
  • The deadline for applications is 15 December 2020. Applications should be sent to applications-for-cwm@mathunion.org. Successful applicants will be informed no later than 31 January, 2021.

  • CWM SUPPLEMENTARY GRANTS 2017. This call is now closed.  CWM has awarded 6 grants of  €500 each to help women from developing countries  to attend scientific events taking place between March 2017 and February 2018. For more details see here.
  • In December 2015, CWM  invited proposals for funding of up to €3000 for activities or initiatives  to take place in 2016 aimed at establishing or supporting networks  for women in mathematics.
