Surafel Tilahun is a Lecturer at the Computational Science program, Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. He was hosted by Professor Mohamed Tawhid at the Thompson Rivers University, Canada during the period 15.06.2017 - 15.07.2017. His research topic involved the theory of slice hyperholomorphic functions and Clifford analysis. The main objective of this research was to discuss the conditions of convergence of swarm intelligence. Based on the properties of the search space and search parameters a definition on -convergence, showing the existence of a natural number N for which the distance between the optimal solution and the archived solution by the algorithm will be less than, will be given and proofed. Geometric and functional properties of the problem as well as the algorithm were used for these purposes. The report can be found here.
