(3) When you contact us by e-mail, the data you supply (your e-mail address, and if appropriate your name and telephone number) are saved by us to answer your queries. We erase the data accumulated in this connection after storage is no longer necessary or we restrict the processing if statutory retention obligations exist.

(4) If we employ contract service providers for individual functions or wish to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail below about the respective operations. At the same time, we will also state the criteria defined for the duration of storage.

Section 2 Collection of personal data on a visit to our website

If you are merely using the website for purposes of information, hence if you do not register or transmit information to us by any other means, we only collect the personal data that your browser transmits to us. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data that we require on technical grounds in order to display our website to you and to ensure the stability and security (the legal basis for this is point (f) of Art. 6 (1) GDPR). These general data and details are stored in the log files of the server:

• Date and time of the request

• Difference in time zone to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT)

• Contents of the requests (specific page)

• Access status/HTTP status code

• Quantity of data transferred in each case

• Website from which the request comes

• Browser

• Operating system and its user interface

• Language and version of the browser software

Your IP address will be stored for a maximum of 7 days as part of a log protocol, then anonymized and finally erased after 4 weeks at the latest.

When using these general data and details, we do not draw any conclusions about you. The data from the server log files are stored separately from all the personal data that you have supplied.

Section 3 Your rights

You have the following rights in relation to us in terms of the personal data concerning you:

• The right of access pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR in conjunction with Section 34 German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG)

• the right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR

• The right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR in conjunction with Section 35 BDSG

• the right to restriction of processing pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR

• the right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR

• the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR in conjunction with Section 19 BDSG. If you wish to exercise your right to complaint, you can direct your complaint to the responsible data protection supervisory authority

• the right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR

Section 4 Objection to or revocation of the processing of your data

(1) If you have granted consent to the processing of your data, you can revoke this at any time. Such a revocation affects the permissibility of processing your personal data after you have informed us accordingly.

(2) Insofar as the processing of your personal data is based on the balancing of interests, you can lodge an objection to the processing. This is the case particularly if the processing is not necessary for fulfilling a contract with you, which we outline for each case in the following description of functions. If you exercise such an objection, we would be grateful if you could state the reasons why we should not process your personal data in the manner we have done. In the event of a justified objection, we will examine the situation and will either discontinue or adapt the data processing or demonstrate the compelling legitimate grounds on the basis of which we will continue the processing.

Section 5 Automated individual decision-making, including profiling

You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or significantly affects you in a similar way. This shall apply if the decision is not necessary for entering into or performance of a contract between us or is authorized by Union or Member State law to which we are subject and which also lays down suitable measures to safeguard your rights and freedoms and legitimate interests or is based on your explicit consent.

If the decision is necessary for entering into or the performance of a contract or if it is based on explicit consent, we shall take suitable measures to safeguard your rights and freedoms and legitimate interest, at least the right to obtain human intervention on the part of the controller, to express his or her point of view and to contest the decision.

If you wish to exercise your rights in relation to automated decision-making, you may contact us at any time to do so.

As a responsible undertaking, we avoid automated decision-making or profiling.

Section 6 Storage period

Provided the time limits for erasure are not explicitly regulated in the respective section of this privacy policy, we will erase your personal data in accordance with the respective statutory retention periods or if the purpose of the storage is no longer valid. After the time limit has expired, the data will be erased as a matter of routine if they are no longer required for the performance or preparation of a contract.

Section 7 Other functions and services of our website

(1) In addition to the use of our website for purely informational purposes, we offer you various services that you may use if interested. To this end, you generally have to provide further personal data, which we use to supply the respective service and to which the previously mentioned principles on data processing apply.

(2) To some extent, we make use of external service providers to process your data. They have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound to our instructions and undergo regular inspection.

(3) Furthermore, we may pass on your personal data to third parties when we offer the opportunity to take part in promotions, to conclude contracts or use similar services in conjunction with partners. (4) If our service providers or partners are based in a state outside of the European Economic Area (EEA), we will inform you of the consequences of this situation in the description of the service offer.

Section 8 External links

We use links on our website that lead to other websites (external links), which are marked accordingly. Their contents are not located on our server. The external contents of these links were examined when the links were set. However, it is not possible to rule out the fact that the contents might have been subsequently changed by their provider. Should you notice that the contents of the external provider violate applicable law, please notify us of this. This privacy policy only applies to contents on our own website.

Section 9 Integration of Google Maps

(1) We use the services of Google Maps on this website. This enables us to display interactive maps to you directly within the website and allow you to conveniently use the map function.

(2) Your visit to the website will cause Google to receive the information that you have called up the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the data mentioned under Section 2 of this statement will be transmitted. This takes place regardless of whether Google provides a user account via which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in with Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not want this assignment to your profile with Google, you must log out before activating the button. Google saves your data as usage profiles and uses them for purposes of advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. An evaluation such as this takes place especially (even for users who are not logged in) to provide demand-oriented advertising and in order to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. Section 10 Google Fonts

(1) Our web pages use fonts provided by Google, which are known as Google Fonts. This service is provided by Google Inc («Google»). Each time our pages are called up, fonts from Google servers are loaded. In addition to the data stated under Section 2 of this privacy policy, information is also transmitted to Google indicating which of our pages you are visiting when calling up the data. These data may possibly be stored by Google and, if you possess a Google account and are logged into this account when calling up the page, also combined with your Google profile.

(2) The use of Google Web Fonts relates to an interest in providing a uniform and appealing appearance for our online services. This represents a legitimate interest as defined by point (f) of Art. 6 (1) GDPR.

(3) If your browser does not support Web Fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

Section 11 Use of Cookies

(1) In addition to the previously mentioned data, cookies are also stored on your computer when you use our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your hard disc assigned to the browser you use and via which certain information flows to the location setting the cookie (in this case, to us). Cookies are unable to execute any programs on or transfer viruses to your computer. Their function is to make the Internet service as a whole more user-friendly and more effective.

(2) Use of cookies:

a) This website uses the following types of cookies, the scope and function of which are outlined in the following: Transient cookies.

b) Transient cookies are deleted automatically when you close the browser. They include, in particular, session cookies. The latter store what is called a session ID with which various requests from your browser can be assigned to the common session. This enables your computer to be recognized when you return to our website. The session cookies are deleted when you log out or close the browser.
